The five OSD Pathways were created from Washington's 16 Career Clusters in order to help students learn, explore, and identify college or career avenues of interest to them. With the help of Interest Inventories and Ability Tests, we can help students find future occupations that they are not only interested in, but ones for which they show an ability. We know that if students' course taking patterns are strongly matched to a specific pathway (3-5 courses taken), they are more likely to identify with that career and take the post-secondary steps needed to fulfill the career's requirements. Our OSD Pathways are linked to the courses we offer at OHS in each Pathway.
