On June 30, 2021, the OSD Board of Directors approved a three year contract naming Pete Perez the district's superintendent.  

Dr. Perez is a lifelong resident of Othello and has spent his entire educational career in Othello School District. He first served as a paraeducator at Lutacaga Elementary in 1996 and also served as principal at Wahitis Elementary.
