New Teachers to the Othello School District

The Othello School District is offering a $1,500 moving stipend with a signed contract to all new teachers to the Othello School District. For more information, please contact the Lead HR Coordinator at 509-488-2659.

 The ETS Paraprofessional Assessment was developed in response to the federal legislation known as No Child Left Behind. This law requires that Paraprofessionals be required to have one of the following:

• Associate of Arts degree or
• 48-semester credits or 72 quarter credits from an institution of higher education or
• Successfully passed the Paraprofessional Assessment

You can schedule to take the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment by contacting Brett Getz in the Human Resources Department at email-bgetz@othelloschools.org or 509-488-2659, extension 1002

The cost for the test at the Othello School District Office is $55 credit or debit card paid at the time of the test.

You can also schedule to take the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment test at home or at a Prometric testing site.

The cost to take the test at home or at a Prometric Testing Site varies, but the cost is more than taking the test at the Othello School District Office.
