Justin Johnson, Principal
Justin Johnson has been an educator and administrator in the Othello District for 20 years. He first joined the Othello School District as a 5th Grade teacher in the fall of 2003 and has since spent time in the classroom as a 4th and 6th grade teacher, as a computer lab specialist, ELL specialist, instructional coach, the district Director of Data and Innovation, and as a building Assistant Principal. Prior to making his way to Washington state, Justin earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota in Elementary Education and has since obtained a Master's degree from Easter Washington University and his Principal credentials from Washington State University. Throughout his experience as an educator and a building administrator, he has shown a passion for educational equity and creating opportunities for all students.
Seamus McPartland, Assistant Principal
Seamus McPartland joins the Othello School District with 11 years in education and many years of farm work on his family's farm in Warden. He started his teaching career in Othello at McFarland Middle School as a 7th grade teacher. Seamus took a break from teaching and joined the Warden School District Board of Directors. He then returned to teaching and taught 5th grade at Warden Elementary School. Seamus is a proud Washington State University alumnus. He earned his undergrad in communications from WSU, his master's in teaching from Heritage University, and his principal credentials from Eastern Washington University. Throughout his career, Seamus has continued to hold high educational standards at the forefront of each conversation and has worked to build strong relationships among students and staff. He is committed to promoting students to become lifelong learners and is proud to be a Wahitis Hawk!
