Interested in becoming a paraprofessional?


The Othello School District will be having a Paraeducator assessment study group led by an instructor to help prepare you to take the ETS Parapro Assessment.


Upcoming study groups will be on, April 15, 2019, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and April 17, 2019, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Othello School District Board Room located at 1025 S 1st Avenue Othello, WA 99344.

All paraeducators must hold a high school diploma or GED. In addition, paraeducators must meet one of the following federal requirements:

  1. Two years of study at an institution of higher education (72-quarter credits or 48-semester credits).  All classes must be at level 100 or higher.
  2. Associate degree or higher.
  3. Pass the ETS ParaPro Assessment. The assessment measures skills, and content knowledge related to reading, writing, and math.
