Our Mission: Serve our Customers to Help Students Learn.
We believe that good nutrition is an essential part of the learning environment. Hungry students have difficulty focusing, which is why we are committed to serving high-quality, nutritious meals every day -- and showing our students that we care.
Help your child succeed in school by ensuring they start the day with a healthy breakfast and enjoy a balanced lunch.

Free Breakfast & Lunch for All Students
The Othello School District is approved to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) through the 2025-2026 school year.
CEP allows schools in qualifying areas to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students, every day, with no applications required.
Benefits of CEP:
- Free, nutritious meals for every student -- no stigma attached
- Reduced school paperwork and administrative costs
- Easier access to healthy food for families
Why We Still Ask for Financial Information
Even though meals are free, the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefits Application (CNEEB) is still very important. The information collected impacts the amount of funding schools receive from the state for programs that benefit students, such as:
- Additional academic support
- Technology access
- School improvement programs
Your help in completing the application ensures OSD receives the funding it is entitled to.
