Small Works Roster
Opportunities for Qualified Contractors
The Othello School District maintains a Small Works Roster of licensed and qualified contractors interested in performing public works projects under $350,000, in accordance with:
- RCW 39.04.155 (Small Works Roster Procedures)
- RCW 28A.335.190 (Public School Bid Law)
Contractors on the roster will be notified of opportunities to bid on eligible district projects involving construction, repair, maintenance, and other improvements.
Contractor Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the Small Works Roster, contractors must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an active Washington State Contractor's License
- Pay prevailing wage rates as required under RCW 39.12
- Provide a Certificate of Insurance prior to the start of any project
- Submit a Performance and Payment Bond (for projects over $35,000) in accordance with RCW 39.08
- Comply with federal, state, and local laws regarding nondiscrimination and affirmative action
How to Apply
Interested contractors must complete and submit a Small Works Roster Application to be added to the district's approved vendor list.
