OSD Career Pathways: Guiding Students Toward a Purposeful Future

Othello School District's five Career Pathways are adapted from Washington State's 16 Career Clusters and are designed to help students explore, discover, and prepare for college and career options that align with their unique interests and strengths.

Using tools like Interest Inventories and Ability Assessments, we support students in identifying future occupations that not only spark their curiosity -- but also match their natural skills and talents.

Research shows that when students complete 3-5 courses within a specific pathway, they are more likely to form a strong connection to that career field and take the necessary post-secondary steps to pursue it.

Each OSD Pathway is directly connected to relevant course offerings at Othello High School, making it easy for students to build experience and confidence in their chosen area of focus.
