TRUANCY:

Students whose parents/guardians do not clear or approve of their absences are considered unexcused or truant. Excused absences are illness, dental, medical appointments, funeral, and family emergencies. Note that students who are on campus but not in their assigned classrooms with teacher permission are also truant. Students will have 2 school days upon their return to have their absence cleared or it becomes truancy. A referral will be generated for each unexcused truancy.
